Just post a note on the desktop using the control buttons on each note, and also click the system tray icon for more options. Left clicking its system tray icon adds a new sticky if there are none, or brings all open stickies to the foreground.
Right clicking the system tray icon shows controls such as recycling all sticky notes or quitting the app. You can also right click each sticky for more options such as pinning it to the foreground above all windows for ease of use when you need to reference a sticky while working in another program. Sticky notes would be would be awesome and helpful if it wasnt for this major flaw, why couldn't Microsoft develop them so they are movable like they are now but where there is an option on each note to allow it to be locked into place.
Thank you Reggie for suggesting Onenote I think I am going to try that at least it's all under one and the whole thing will move when I show windows side by side but it's better than having to move 10 notes and them having to move them back several times a day.
So i use sticky notes a lot as I need them to keep data for scale and position and such for commonly used assets for my youtube videos kind of like a bookmark so I dont forget the values everytime I edit. I havent knowingly changed any of my settings or anything either. If anyone knows whats going on, I'd really appreciate it since its been getting pretty annoying having to move them back in place everytime I log on. This thread is locked. Step 2 : Click on the three-dot icon present at the top in Chrome and select More tools followed by Create shortcut. Go to your desktop and you will Sticky Notes icon there. Launch the app to view your Sticky Notes right from the desktop. As mentioned before, the sync facility is available only on Sticky Notes 3. So update the app from the Microsoft store. If the app is updated, yet the notes do not sync, sign out of the Sticky Notes on both the sides. Then log in again. To sign out, go to Sticky Notes Settings and click on Sign out.
Hopefully, that should fix it. To manually sync notes, go to Sticky Notes Settings and then hit the Sync now option. Well, that's how you can sync your Sticky Notes with other computers.
Fortunately, the notes are accessible on your phones Android and iPhone too using the OneNote apps. I hope everything goes well. However, if bad luck ever dawns on you making you lose your precious Sticky Notes, recover them using these methods.
